  • Puppy Training Classes
    Do you have a new puppy but lack the time to train them properly? Is he/she misbehaving? Send them to us! Our professional trainers will have them acting appropriately before you know it! Age Requirement: Puppies must be five months or younger at the time of class start date.                                                                  
  • Here are some upcoming dates for Puppy Training Classes:
    • Wednesdays starting July 12, 7:15-8:15pm with Mallory Hattie
      1st class is an orientation from 7-8:15pm for people only. This is a 6-week class.
    • Mondays starting July 24, 7:15-8:15pm with Diana Logan
      1st class is an orientation from 7:15-8:45pm for people only.

Planet Dog Trainers

Our professional Trainers Mallory Hattie and Diana Logan will have your puppy behaving better in no time. Classes fill up very quickly, so if you have a dog in need of some "adjustments," you should act fast! The fee for each 6-week sessions is $135.

Mallory Hattie

Mallory has been training people to train their dogs since 2000, and became a CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) in 2003. She started Raising Canine Maine Dog Training and began offering Puppy classes at the Planet Dog Company store in 2005, where she continues to teach positive reinforcement classes and run the Puppy Play Groups on many weekends.

Mallory is available for private consultations, and also offers classes through Telling Tails Training Center in Fryeburg, Maine, and through the Recreation Department in Gorham. She is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator through the AKC. Mallory continues her education by attending workshops and seminars, most recently the Clicker Expo and Wag It Games Instructors course. She feels that having fun with training is paramount!

Diana Logan

Diana Logan is a CPDT-KA - a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge-Assessed. She owns Pet Connection Dog Training of North Yarmouth and has been teaching classes and workshops and offering private behavioral modification consultations since 2006. She's addicted to clicker training and thoroughly enjoys helping dogs blossom and relationships build through positive reinforcement training.

Diana's specialties are puppies, tricks, canine musical freestyle and helping the fearful dog become more confident. She can even be hired to provide dog tricks entertainment at kids' parties! She and her dog "Astro" have been on television several times demonstrating the joy of tricks.
