Canine Moment – Now on Facebook
Kevin is a 5 month old Italian Spinone who loves nothing more than running through the park on the hunt to eat anything that his owners will think is disgusting! He is soon to add world traveler to his resume when he moves out to the west coast of Canada and is looking forward to all the new smelly things to eat on a new beach. This photo was taken on his daily walk. Everyday he runs to the top of the hill and waits - ready to pounce on unsuspecting passers-by. Kevins giant ears help increase air resistance and ensure a soft landing!
Every month, Planet Dog selects one submitted image that captures the fun and whimsy that our dogs bring to our lives. We choose images that resonate with the time of year, that make us smile, and that remind us why we are proud to be dog people.
In order to participate, first become a fan of Planet Dog on Facebook.
**Your submission must include:
- The words “CANINE MOMENT” and your buddy’s name in the comment field of your post
- A description that explains the image and where it was taken.
- A way to contact you through Facebook should you be the winner.
We will select the winner on the 23rd of each month from those photos posted since the 23rd of the previous month. We will contact you via Facebook, and you will need to respond to us within 5 days. If we cannot successfully reach you, we will contact the runner-up. Please check your Facebook email regularly to see if your dog is a winner. The winner will be announced on planetdog.com and featured in a nationwide email sent to all of Planet Dog’s customers at the beginning of the following month.
Winners of the Canine Moment Contest will win the choice of:

- Request that Planet Dog make a donation to the Planet Dog Foundation of the value of those 3 products in their buddy’s name, and have their buddy posted on the Planet Dog Foundation Tribute Page (http://www.planetdogfoundation.org/tribute.aspx). All donations to PDF are given to canine service programs to fund the training, placement and support of service dogs helping people in need.
**Please note- by submitting your photo to the Canine Moment Contest, you give Planet Dog the right to use this photo in email programs, the Planet Dog websites and collateral or on our Facebook Page.
