Canine Moment – Now on Facebook

This picture of Diesel, a 6 year old male golden retriever, was taken on a rare day in North Carolina where 10 inches of snow had just fallen. Diesel was out running, rolling, and growling with his brother, which his family refers to as ZOOMS. Diesel is the clown of the family whether standing on the dining room table (not encouraged by his family) or rolling on his back with huge growls, he always makes his family laugh.

Every month, Planet Dog selects one submitted image that captures the fun and whimsy that our dogs bring to our lives. We choose images that resonate with the time of year, that make us smile, and that remind us why we are proud to be dog people.

 

In order to participate, first become a fan of Planet Dog on Facebook.

 

**Your submission must include:

• The words “CANINE MOMENT” and your buddy’s name in the comment field of your post
• A description that explains the image and where it was taken.
• A way to contact you through Facebook should you be the winner.

We will select the winner on the 23rd of each month from those photos posted since the 23rd of the previous month. We will contact you via Facebook, and you will need to respond to us within 5 days. If we cannot successfully reach you, we will contact the runner-up. Please check your Facebook email regularly to see if your dog is a winner. The winner will be announced on planetdog.com and featured in a nationwide email sent to all of Planet Dog’s customers at the beginning of the following month.

Winners of the Canine Moment Contest will win the choice of:

• Any 3 FREE Planet Dog products from http://www.planetdog.com  

OR

• Request that Planet Dog make a donation to the Planet Dog Foundation of the value of those 3 products in their buddy’s name, and have their buddy posted on the Planet Dog Foundation Tribute Page (http://www.planetdogfoundation.org/tribute.aspx). All donations to PDF are given to canine service programs to fund the training, placement and support of service dogs helping people in need.
