I bought this ball for my parent's lab thinking it would be a funny xmas gift. I assumed he'd play with it for a few minutes tops before it was headed straight for his old toy basket, never to be seen or played with again. Much to my surprise, he was immediately drawn to this minty ball and it quickly turned into one of his favorites!
You know how sometimes a manufacturer will say something is really durable, so you buy it, and it isn't, and you can't get your money back? Well, that ends here. Our first pooch was given a Coal by my sister 3 years ago. The dog chewed on it. We got a second dog, also a chewer. We began noticing some tiny cracks, but no real damage until a few weeks ago when a chunk came off. This was not casual chewing that finally killed it, but serious, dedicated, enthusiastic chewing.
You'll never guess what happened next, I called Planet Dog thinking it might be a silly exercise in futility. But that was not to be. I was instructed to fill out the form in the website and send the ball back. I mailed it on Friday (Massachusetts to Maine) and the replacement was in our mailbox on Monday.
I am on the website now to order gifts for our two (4 years and 9 months) and for their friends. I cannot recommend these products and company too highly -- or, in fact, highly enough.
