Bought this for a 6 month old English springer spaniel who loves puzzles and interactive toys. The whole ripped in less then two hours of play. It is a great idea the whole is not durable and is two big
The Orbee-Tuff® Mazee is clearly engaging, clearly rewarding, and clearly fun! This interactive puzzle toy offers hours of long-lasting, brain-stimulating entertainment for dogs of any size. The translucent and pliable Orbee-Tuff® outer shell combined with the harder inner maze activates several of the dog's senses - they can hear, see and smell the treats while they solve the puzzle. For over a year this toy was the only way we could get our dog to eat. He LOVES to work and this is his favorite toy. Insert kibble and watch Your pup go crazy. When it's time to eat we say "find maze ball" and he always knows exactly where he has left this toy. Highly recommend this item. If you have a chewer keep it up between play sessions. It is not durable to chewing.
My Jack Russell is extremely sound sensitive. A paper clip falling on the floor can send him running for cover. I bought the Mazee in hopes of giving him something to occupy his mind that wouldn't rattle around the floor scaring him senseless. It is PERFECT! He can get his treats and not be frightened if it hits a wall or other object. I recommend this product for anyone with a dog like mine.
At first my dog didn't show any interest in the toy even though it was full of his favorite treats. After I played with it for a bit, he decided he liked it and got really into playing with it. It's a great variation on puzzle toys but the material is flimsey and he tore it to shreds in one play.
This was way too easy for my dog to figure out. It would've been nice if there was a reducing plug, for different size treats. Just a few rolls and the treats are out.
I WOULD buy 10, if I needed them, but this seems, basically, indestructible. My French Bulldog, Walter abuses this ball to no end...it's bitten, chewed on, thrown around, filled with treats...you name it, he does it. He loves every PD toy we've given him (because of the squish factor and the minty fresh scent), but this is hands down his favorite and favorite toy in general.
